Litigation is inherently risky.  Sometimes you win cases you should lose, and sometimes you lose cases you should win.

Easy cases generally don't go to trial.  They settle.  It's the difficult cases that do.  The more difficult the case, the greater the risk of losing.    

We aren't afraid to take difficult cases.  We aren't intimidated by the prospect of persuading a judge of a new interpretation of the law or facing off against a much larger firm with greater resources.  In a trial described by the presiding judge as a "David and Goliath type matchup between [Sohn Legal Group, P.C.] and a large national law firm," the "court reconsidered [its original position that would have terminated plaintiff's case] only after [David Sohn] patiently explained and finally convinced the court [of his client's position]."  The judge concluded that "the reality therefore is that this case only got tried because of [Sohn Legal Group, P.C.'s] ability to present and explain this new interpretation of the law."

We work efficiently.  The trial judge remarked:  "considering the mountain of material which [Sohn Legal Group, P.C.]  had first to get defendant to produce and then review, collate and prepare for trial, the court finds the hours for fees to be remarkably conservative."

We're committed to getting the results you want.  The same trial judge also made the following observation:  "the court also takes note of the many obstacles  [Sohn Legal Group, P.C.] overcame in getting this case to trial in a very compressed time frame."
