Principal Attorney David Sohn is a Bay Area native who earned his undergraduate degree from Stanford University and his law degree from Harvard Law School.  After working at some of the most sophisticated and prestigious law firms in the country handling matters of significant public and private concern, David ventured out on his own in 2010 and founded SLG.  Why?  To help level the playing field for ordinary, hardworking individuals and organizations who are taken advantage of by others with more power and resources.  

Due to the successful results he has secured for his clients, David has been recognized as a Rising Star and Super Lawyer by Super Lawyers® magazine since 2009.

Outside of his day-to-day practice, David serves on the Board of SteppingStone, one of San Francisco's largest adult day health care centers.  Helping seniors and disabled adults maintain their health and quality of life is a cause that is close to David's heart.  David has also served for many years on the Boards of a number of local bar associations including the Korean American Bar Association of Northern California and the Asian American Bar Association of the Greater Bay Area.  David regularly volunteers at legal clinics to help protect the most vulnerable members of the Bay Area community.
