Sohn Legal Group, P.C. has expertise and experience handling complex matters involving wage and hour claims, workplace disputes, whistleblower complaints, breach of contract claims, business fraud, consumer fraud, partnership disputes, elder abuse, and personal injury.  

We represent a diverse spectrum of domestic and international clients in connection with our work including, but not limited to, rank-and-file employees, executives, founders, doctors, lawyers, dentists, other licensed professionals, consumers, investors, finance professionals, board members, startups, small and medium-sized businesses, and non-profits. We have Spanish, Punjabi, Russian, Japanese, and Korean-speaking resources for those for whom English is not their first language.

Even if a matter isn't in our wheelhouse, if it's motivated by just reasons, we're willing to put in the work to master the issues and to represent your interests vigorously.  We welcome the challenge.

Although we're based in San Francisco, we handle matters throughout the State of California.  We've handled matters as far north as Butte County and as far south as San Diego County.  As Martin Luther King, Jr. aptly noted many decades ago, "injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere."

In addition to representing our clients in state and federal courts, in arbitration proceedings, and in administrative actions, we devote a significant amount of time to providing advice and counsel to help our clients avoid legal disputes.

Our firm is well-versed in litigating and trying class actions.  Class actions allow the claims of similarly-situated individuals—for example, employees who have been misclassified as exempt, or consumers subjected to fraudulent misrepresentations about a product or service—to be aggregated into one action. Utilizing the class action vehicle is often an effective means to obtain relief for injuries inflicted upon a large group of individuals, each of whom would otherwise not bring individual claims due to the costly nature of litigation. We've recovered millions for our clients.

Our firm prides itself on achieving results in an efficient and responsible manner.  We're conscientious about how we staff the matters we're engaged in.  We staff them in accordance with their needs, and not as a means to generate more fees. From our experience, less is often more.

We recognize that every client comes from different financial circumstances. We're willing to work with you and your budget to help you achieve your legal objectives.  We can offer to work on a flat fee, an hourly fee, a contingency fee basis, or a hybrid of these billing options.  Please ask us about alternative financial arrangements that may be a good fit for your matter.

We accept a limited number of engagements at any given time.  By doing so, we ensure that our clients enjoy the access, responsiveness, and service consistent with the highest standards of the legal profession.  Attorneys at other law firms regularly trust us with their clients.  Additionally, attorneys outside of California regularly engage us as local counsel to assist them on their matters.
